WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by you the Church-
wardens and Overseers ofthe Poor of the Parish of St.
James Westminster
unto us whose Hands and Seals are hereunto set two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace (Quorum unus) for theCounty and Libty
aforesaid, thatAnne Feerne < no role > Widow of John Feerne< no role > aged
about Fifty and Five years is

ofSt James there to inhabit asaParishioner contrary to
the Laws relating to the Settlement of the Poor, andisthere likely
to become Chargeable, if not timely prevented. And whereas up-
on due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premissesas also
upon Oath at the Said Anne Feerne< no role > it appears
unto us, and we accordingly Adjudge, That the saidAnne
Feerne

likely to become Chargeable, and thatherlast Legal Place of
Settlement was in thesaid Parish of St. Andrew Undershaft

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to Order and
Require you the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
St. James aforesaid, That you, or some of you do forth-
with remove and convey the saidAnne Feerne< no role >
from your saidParish
to theParish of St. Andrew Undershaft aforesaid, andherdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true
Copy hereof, whereby they are likewise requir'd in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith
to recive the saidAnne Feerne< no role >
into their saidand Careand provide forher
as their own Parishioner: Given under our Hands and Seals, the
