Spinster the Prosecutor in this Cause Maketh Oath That
She this Depont: having the very last Sessions of ye Peace
held at Hickes Hall for the County of Middx prferred a
a Bill of Indictment agt. the Defts for an Assault Comitted
by them on this Depont. Which Indictmt. this Depont. purposed
to have Tryed pursuant to ye Notice given by the Defto in this
Cause this prsent Sessions of the Peace but is prvented in
prparing her Self to prosecute the same By reason the
Defto John Butler< no role > prferred a Bill of Indictmt. agt. this Depont. the
last Hillary Term in his Majestys Court of Kings Bench at
Westmr . for a Suppos'd Assault by this Depont. on the said Comitted
Deft (in order as this Depont. verily beleive to prvent ther
in prosecuting the said Indictmt. in this Court. And this
Depont. saith that She now lyes under the Custody of the
Tips last to the Lord Chief Justice of the Kings Bench for
want of an appearance to the Indictmt. agt. her by the
abovenamed Deft. in the said Court and that this
Depont. hath not been able to procure Bail to get
her Enlargemt.
