Now Sitting at Hicks Hall

The Humble petition of
John Banking< no role >

Sheweth


That he has been a prisoner
for Debt Ever Since the year 1721 and
was Convicted at Hicks hall in August
1724 for an assault and fined by the Court
£10 which fine is now paid: and that the
bearer will Justifie yt your poor petitioner
has Summon'd his Preditors three times
and in all things Conformed himselfe to
the Act of parliament for releife of
Insolvent Debtors

He therefore Humble prays the Worshipfull
bench will be pleased it Consider his Extreame
poverty and order his appearence this Day
in order to his being Dischargd

And he will Ever pray & Etc.
