The Humble Petition of Bernard

Sheweth


That by Indenture bearing Date the 26th.
Day of March 1722 Yor. Petr. was bound Apprentice
to John Perrin< no role > of the Parish of St. Andrew Holborn
in the said County Baker .

That your Petrs. said Master does frequently
without Reason beat and abuse yor. Petitioner
in a very Barbarous & cruell Manner for which he
hath been formerly conven'd before one of His Maties
Justices of the Peace for the said County before
whom he promised for the future to for bear notwith=
=standing which he did afterwards barbarously beat
& briuse yor. Petr. for which he is bound to appear
before yor. Worshps. at this prsent Sessions

That Since his being bound as aforesaid he
Continues to threaten yor. Petr. So that yor. Petr. is
really in danger of Life

Yor. Petr. therefore most humbly
prays that he may be discharged
from his said Apprenticeship

And he shall ever pray Etc.
