Know all men by these presents that Wee John Jones < no role > and
Joseph Glew< no role > Overseers of the poor of the parish of St
Giles in the fields in the County of Middx whose hands and
seals are here unto sett for and in consideration of the sume
of Ten poundsof lawfull money of
Great Britain to us in hand paid for the use of the poor
of the said Parish by John Martin< no role > Distiller
the Receipt where of wee do hereby acknowledge Have-
remised released acquitted and discharged the said John
Martin
< no role > off and from all and all mannerof costs charges
and expences which here after may attend for or by reason
of provideing for nourishing bringing up & maintaining
a male Bastard Child lately bornion the body of [..] body of Ayord Court hope Single woman named John of which the above
named John Martin< no role > is adjudged to be the reputed
Father And wee doe here by for ourselves & our Successors
Covenant promise and agree to provide for the said
Child as for other poor Children of said Parish and also
to indempnify and save harmless yr said John
Martin
< no role > his heirs Exemtors and Admini Strators
and his and their Goods Chattells Lands & Tentments
off and from all costs charges & expences touching the
same In Wittness where of Wee have here unto Sett our
hands and seals the 20th day of April Anno Dnr 1723
