This Court being informed that the Burgesses within the City & Libty of
Westmr. in this County doe keep Courts & Sett fines
or severall of his Maties. liege Subjects inhiteing within
the sd. Liberty, and alsoe appoint Scavengers, make Rates
& collect great sumes of money or pretence of
cleaning the streets within the said Liberty without
any legall authority soe to doe, It is thought fit and
Ordered by this Court that it be And It is hereby

authority or pretence they sett fines and collect any
sume or sumes of money of the Inhitants of the said
