Day after the Expiration of the first fourteens aforesaid
pay or Cause to be paid to the Said Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor or to the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the poor for the time being (their Sueassors) to some
or one of them the Sum of two Shillings and Six pence of
Like Lowfull Money for and towards the relief and
Maintanance of the Said Male Bastard Child for so long
and at such times as he Shall Continue to be Chargable
to the Said psh. And further we do Order that the Said
Joseph Scott< no role > Shall pay and discharge the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor and the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poor for the time being of the Said psh. of St. James
Clerkenwell and every of them of and from all debth
Damages and Domands abeady demanded or Contracted or
that may hereafter be demanded or Contated of or by them
or Either of them for or by reaton of the birth beinging up
or Maintaining of the Said Male Bastard Child in any
Cale Whatsoever. And lastly we do Adjudge that upon
Notice of this our Order the Said Joseph Scott< no role > find
Sufficient Security to the Church wardens and Overseers
of the poor of the said parish of St. James Clerkenwell for
the time being or to some or one of them for the true
performance of all and Singular the respective Articles
Contain'd in this our Order. Given undr. our hands
and seals this 5 day of Septr 1722
