Humbly Sheweth

That the place of Governour of the House of Correction at
Clerkenwell in the said County being now vacant oy the
Death of Mr Adam Harker< no role > late Governour there of And
your Worshipps Nomination and Disposall

That your Petitioner hath been Assistant and Turnkey to several
late Keepers of New prison And being (as he humbly conveit
Quallifyed to serve the said Office of Governour of the said
House of Correction and is ready to give sufficient Sureties
for his faithfull discharge of the said Office and being
a Person well affected to his Majestys Person and
Government as will be Attested if required.

Ypur Petitioner therefore humbly
Prays your Worshipps will be
pleased to Elect and choose him
Govenour of the said House of
Correction in the Room and
Place of the aid Adam Harker< no role >
Deceaced.
