the sd. Geary declines to comply with, And that thereupon
the said Comittee doe submitt That the first agreemt. wth.
the sd. Geary clayms a performance of & alledgeth to be
broke mims juste by Mrs. Seymour's demanding one hundred
pounds a yeare is not subsisting, because it was in
termes, soe long as both parties should agree, and was
waived by the second about a yeare after, which
second was carryed into execucon, As alsoe by the severll.
annuall ones made [..] & executed since, which were
varyant from it, And that the last of them expireing
on the fifth day of January last the Comittee submitt
that there is now noe subsisting agreemt. between
the [..] parties at all, And the sd. Comittee of
Justices by their sd Report takeing notice of their
haveing examined into the accompts laid before them
by both the sd. parties relateing to the receipts &
disbursmts. in the Office of Cryer & Housekeeper Doe
compute that the clear gaine of the sd. Geary [..]
yeares ending last January Sessions amounts to thirty
Seven pounds Six Shillings & eight pence each yeare,
And Submitt it to the Judgmt. of this Court whether
Such a Sume is reasonable wages for the service the
sd Geary is obliged to performe (vizt.) his attendance
with his wife & sons every Sessions to buy in provisions,
to dress them, to want at table, for delivering, Orders of
Court to the severall Constables in all parts of this
County, for attending the renewing of licences all over
the County and maintaining himselfe on those occasions,
for delivering the licences in all parts of the County after
they come from the Clerke of the Peace, and for his
attendance in keeping the house & goods in order, for all
which services the sd. Geary hath charged nothing in
his accompt laid before the sd Comittee, tho he appeares
to have performed the same for six yeares last past,
But the sd. Comittee further take notice that Mrs. Seymour since
the peruseing the sd. accompts hath charged the sd Geary with the
Sumes of fourty one pounds & thirteen poundsamounting
together to fifty four poundsin two other accompts, by her
produced which the sd. Geary hath not had time to inspect to
