To The Rt. Worshipfull his Maties Justices of the peace for the
County of Middlesex in Genll. Qr. Sessions Assembled.

The humble peticon of James Walthoe< no role > late Church
Warden of the parish of St. Giles without Cripple
gate for the year 1719

Sheweth


That your Petr. during the time of his said Office of Church
Warden of the parish Aforesaid did Disburst and lay out for
the use of the poor of the said parish over and above the money
by him received or Collected upwards of Eighty pounds and that
by reason of the great number of poor which were that year over
sickly your petr. did Contract Severall other Debts for the
use of the said parish amounting to upwards of Eighty five
pounds for which Debts your Petr. is dayly Threatned to be
arrested.

That there being a Considerable Sum of mony in the
hands of theTreasurer of the Mortuary
money and Mr. Champ the present Churchwarden of
the said parish.

Therefore your Petr. most humbly prays
this Honble. Court will be pleased to take his
Case into Consideration and Relieve him
as in their great Wisdom and Justice that
be thought meet & Convenient

And your petr. as in Duty bound will ever
pray
