Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us Two of his Maties:
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (Quorum unns) by
the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the parish of St
Giles in the Fields in the County aforesaid aforesaid That Edward
Thompson
< no role > is lately come into to the said parish
endavouring to settle there contrary to Law And it
appeareth unto us the Said Justice that he is likely to
become Chargeable to the said Parish And whereas upon
Examination of the said Edward Thompson< no role > taken upon
Oath it further appeareth unto us & wee doe Adjudge the
parish of St Margaret Westminster in ye Said Countyto be the
place of the last Legall Settlement of the said Edward
Thompson
< no role > And doe therefore in this Maties. name charge
& Comand the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the
parish of St Giles in the Feilds forthwith to remove & Convey the
said Edward Thompson< no role > from the said Parish of St Giles in
the Feilds to the said parish of St Margaret Westminster
and deliver him to the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor
there or to some or one of them who are hereby required
to receive him into their case & provide for him according
to Law Given under Our hands & Seales this Sixteenth
day of September Anno Dui 1720
