Wee whose Hands and Seales are here unto Set Two of this
Maties Justices of the peace for the County and Libty aforesd
(Quorum Anns) and Inhabiting neare the parish of St. Clements
Danes within yr said County and Libty aforesd haseing meet
together and heard the Complaint of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poore of the said Parish of St. Clements Danes
cocerning a Male Bastand Child born in the said parish on the
Body of Mary Street< no role > Single woman on the Twenty Eighth Day
of August last past which Child is Baptized in the last menconed
Parish and named Michael and hath even since the birth there of
been chargeable to the said parish and so likely to Continue Do
finde upon Examination of yr said Mary Street taken upon Oath
that one Michael Dunn< no role > of Hedge Lane on the parish of St:
Martins in the Fields in the County and Libty aforesd Victualler
did beget on the Body of her the said Mary Street< no role > the said
Male Bastard Child Wee the Justice do adjudge him the sd
Michael Dunn< no role > the Putative Father of the said Male Bastard
Child And do order and appoint him the said Michael Dunn< no role >
forth with upon Notice of this our Order to pray to the said
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poore of yr Parish of St:
Clements Danes or to Some or one of them the Sume of Fourty
Shillings of Lawfull Money of Great Britain for Releif of
the said Male Bastard Child for the first foure Weekes
after the Birth there of and for the Charges of her lying in
As also that he said Michael Dunn< no role > Shall weekly and-
every week afterwards pay of to the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poore of the Parish of St. Clements Danes of to Some or
one of them the same of Two Shillings nad Six pence of
like Lawfull Money for and forwards the Reliefe and
maintainance of the said Male Bastard Child for so long
time as the said Male Bastard Child Shall remain Chargeable
to the said Parish And that he Shall of and from the
charge of the said Bastard Child at all times here from
save harmless and indemnifie the said Parish of St:
Clements Danes Given under our Hands and Seales
this 24th: Day of September Anne Dom 1717
