Thomas Griffith< no role > of the Parish of St. Martins in
the Feilds in the County of Middx Taylor Maketh Oath
that he this Dept. being a Journey Man to one Mr. William
Addis
< no role > in the parish and County aforesaid Taylor He the said Mr.
Addis did on Wednesday the fifth Day of this Instant October
come into his shop where this Dept. was at Work and told this
Dept. that he was Obliged to go into Shrop Shire for that he
had used a Letter from his Fal. on the Tuesday before which
informed him that his Father was very ill and desired to See
him as soon as Possible And the Said Mr. Addis Ordered this
Dept. to be in the Way and to take care of his Business in his the said
Mr. Addis Absence And this Dept. further Maketh Oath that
he Verily beleives that Mr. Addis is gone to Visitt his Father
in Shropshire for that this Dept. did give the sd. Mr. Maddis
Commendacons in Writing to his this Depts. Aunt who do's-
not live above halfe a Mile from the sd. Mr. Addis Father
and this Dept. verily beleives that the said Mr, Addis went
into Shropshire on purpose to Settle his Fathers Affaires before
his Fathers Decease for that this Dept. is informed & verily
beleives the said Mr. Addis is entituled to a small Estate after
the Death of his Father
