The humble Petition of John
Stevenson< no role > of the Parish of St.
Mary Islington in the said
County.

Sheweth

That your Petitr at Easter last was chosen to serve
the office of one of the Overseers of the poor of the
aforesaid Parish for the year Ensuing

That your Petr: is troubled with Fitts in soe much
that two or three times in a day he has been
taken up for dead and hath remained soe
for a considerable time and is now under ye
Care of Physicians Whereby he is rendred.
uncapable of serving the said Office

Yor. Petr therefore humbly
prays he may be discharged
from serving the said office
& a fit prson chose in his
roome

And Yor Petr Shall Ever Pray etc.
