Parish of St. Andrew Holbourn (for the
liberty above the Carrs) in the County of Middx
And to the Parish of St. Bottolphs Aldergate London without [..]

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by you unto us whose
Hands and Seals are hereunto sertwo of hisMajesties
Justices of the Peace (Quorum unus) for theCounty of Middx
aforesaid, thatMathew Jackman< no role > a Young Child
Aged Eight Years or there abouts in
lately intruded& Comeinto your saidParish
ofAndrew Holbourn there to inhabit asaParishioner contrary to
the Laws relating to the Settlement of the Poor, andisthere likely
to become Chargeable; if not timely prevented. And whereas up
on due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premissesupon the
Oath of William Jackman< no role > the Fatherit appears
unto us, and we accordingly Adjudge, That the saidMathew
Jackman

likely to become chargeable, and thathislast Legal Place of Set-
tlement was in theParish of pnt. Bottolphs Aldersgate
without aforesaid where the Said Mathew

THESE are therefore inhisMajesties Name to Order and
Require you the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. Andrew Holbourn,aforesaid, That you, or some of you do forth-
with remove and convey the saidMathew Jackman< no role >
from your saidParishs [..] Andrew holbourn
to thesd. Parish of St. Botolphs Aldersgate [..] aforesaid, andhimdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true
Copy hereof, whereby they are likewise requir'd inhisMajesties
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith
into their saidParishand provide forhim
