The Deft isAssaulteIndicted for Assaulting
Samuel Child< no role > Gen. & Mary < no role > his wife the Case is
Mr Child the Psent has employed one Hall of Highgate
Carpenter to Wainscott part of his house which
Hall employ'd the Deft or his servant of Journeyman
to. Asst him the sd Hall in Warnscotting the Sd Mr
Child's house who Accordingly did works in the sd Mr
Childs house & abt. the dry in the Indictmt: the Deft went
Most of thedayforenoone adrm king & morneing
to his worke the said Mrs. Child told him he was
very idle fell one in neglecting his Mrs. Worke &
keeping them in Suspence whereby theire house was
useless whereupon the Sd Deft called the Sd Mrs
Child an impudent hasey & a Clrk with other
approbrcons lanquage Violent fell upon her
wee her those upon which the sd Madam Child Shouted
out upon wth Mr Child came to her in Assistance
& thereupon the Deft fell upon him is a very
[..] violent Manner & love all his westreate & if
is had not be one for his Servt. had don him
a further injury upon wth. he was by Justice
Beetings Warrt convenced before him & thereupon
counted to the Stocks who broke out of the range
& broke the Justice Windows & threatn'd to kill his
froteman & likewise the sd Mr Child
