County of Middx

The humble Peticon of Phillis

Sheweth


That your Peticoner about a Month agoe was comitted to
the House of Correccon in this County for Selling Ale & Beer
without a Lycense.

That the next Day after your Peticoners comittment
one Anne Thompson< no role > who Dwelld in the House with her &
broke her house Robbed Your Peticoner of Money and Goods to the
vallue of Fifty Pounds For which the said Thomson
is now in Newgate .

That there is a Bill of Indictment preferred against
the said Anne Thomson< no role > for the aforesaid Burglary
& Fellony But your Peticoner by reason of her
Confinement is altogeather Uncapable of giving
her Evidence without An order from this Court

Your Petr therefore humbly prays
your Worspps will be pleased to grant
an Order of this Court Directed to the
Governour of the aforesd Prison yt
she may be admitted to Goe to the
Old Baily to Give her Evidence
agt the said Thompson On Thursday
at ten of the Clock in ye forenoone.
