whereas upon reading the humble peticon & appeale of
Richard Hawley< no role > Gent William Reading< no role > Jane Deeley< no role >
John Browne< no role > Abigal Partridge< no role > Martha Howard< no role >
Mary Wingfeild< no role > & Thomas Arundell< no role > Inhabitants of
the Towne of new Brentfor d in this County exhibited
unto the Court of the last Generall Quarter sessions of
the peace held for this County settingforth that by two
severall rates lately made by the Chappell wardens &
Overseers of the poor of the sd Towne of New Brentford
for the yeare one thousand seven hundred & fourteen
the petr. have been severally rated for & towards the
releife of the poor there, And that the Petrs. thinking
themselves aggreived by the sd. rates and that the
charges therein contained are unequall (severall
missions being made therein) humbly appealed
therefrom, and prayed that the sd. Chappell wardens
& Overseers of the poor of the sd Towne of New Brentford
might be Ordered to attend the sd Court & bring
with them their said rates in order to shew cause why
the Petrs. should not be releived, It was thereupon
