Hicks Hall
in St. Johns Street
bearing date the 26th. of Febry. last
past to Sumon before me the Church Wardens & Overseers
of the poor of the parish of St. Martin in the Feilds
in this
County and all others concerned And then to Examiner
into the Complaint of

the wife

Richard
Seddon< no role >
he refusing to provide for her being in great
Distress for want of Releife And having accordingly
Sumoned the sd. partyes & caused a Copy of the sd. Order of
Court to be delivered unto them Upon Examining & hearing
the whole Matter Do find the Complainants Settlemt. to
be in the Parish of St. Martins
aforesd. and that Comptt. is
in great want & distress & hath been gresely abused by
her said Husband who is a painter
and capable of getting
three or foure pounds P Week by his Work as I am
credibly informed & he refuseth to two with his said
wife but cohabites with a loose sd le lewd Woman upon
the whole Matter therefore I do think fitt & hereby Order
that the sd.

allow & pay unto his said wife
Hannah< no role >
or to the
Church Wardens & Overseers of the poor of the said parish
of St. Martins
for her use the full sume of Eight & twenty
Shillings a Moneth by Weakly paymt. towards her
support & Mainteinance, And he forthwith pay what is
in drrear And deliver unto her her gold Wedding Ring
And for the true Pformance hereof he enter into Bend
with sufficient Suretyes And that he may not presend
not to have Notice hereof give him or his Bayle a true
