The humble peticon & appeal of Thomas
Watts
< no role > of the parish of St James Clerkenwell
in the said County.

Sheweth

That last year your Petitr: was rated tenn pence p Month towards
the relief of the poor of the said parish besides Over rates and
that this present year Yor Petitr is raised to Fourteen pence
p Month.

That your Petitr is aged near Seaventy Yeares due hath
Susteined great Losses & past his Labour Wherefore he
humbly Conceives himselfe opprest £3 p An

Your Petitr therefore humbly prays
Yor Worspps will be pleased to
relieve him As unto yor Worspps Shall
Seeme Meete

And Yor Petitr shall ever pray Etc
