This Examt: saith that on Tuesday the first day of November 1709
about two of the Clock in ye Afternoon. one Richd Graytorax< no role > togather wth
another person this Examt. unknown Came into the shop of John Jones< no role >
shoemaker in Cranburn street in ye Parish of St. Anns [..] in ye
Liberty of Westmr . being this Examt. Master and desired his this Examt and Master
to make him a pair of shoes. which this Examt. Master promised to do agt.
friday morning, and that this Examt. Stepping out of the shop and
imediately returning in again saw the sd. Richard Graytorax< no role > put
a pair of shoes under this Coat and go out of his sd: Masters shop wth. the
sd. shoes. and that this Examt informing his Master that the sd. Richard
Graytorax< no role > . had got a pair of shoes under his Coat his sd. Master went
out and brought the sd. Richd Graytorax back again to his shop. and
there Challenged him the sd. Graytorax wth. the sd. shoes, and that he the
sd. Graytorax imediately went away wth. his this Examt. Master as this
Examt. versly beleives to shew the sd. shoes. which this Examt. saith on the
Goods of his sd. Master. and further saith not
