Anne Elmes< no role > wife of Henry Elmes< no role > of Hemlock Court
in the parish of St Clements Danes in this County Sellers
of Punch maketh oath that about four months agoe she this
was comitted to New Prison att Clerkenwell in this County
& continued there about three weeks and dureing the
time of her sd Imprisonmt was not hindred from having
Victualls & Drink brought to her into the said Prison &
had frequently victualls & other necessarys vizt meat
bread & cheese als & Brandy brought her from a broad
& the same was admitted to be brought into her without
any hindrance by the Keeper there or his servts but this
Depont did frequently buy drink in the sd Prison of
old Clarke the then Sutler there att four pence a quart
but was not compelled or required to take her drink
of the sd Sutler & this Depont further Saith that during
her sd imprisonmt She Saw Severallpoorof the poor
Prisoners then in the sd Prison releived by Capt. Boreman
Keeper of the sd Prison & his wife with victualls from
their own table & particularly one Kath Hatt then
a prisoner there was releived by the sd Mr Boreman
& turned out without paymt of her Fees & also one Mary
Deale

paymt. of her Fees as the said Kath Hatt< no role > & Mary Deale< no role >
have owned to this Depont & has during her sd Imprisonmt
seen a rug & a pillow brought into the sd Prison to some
or one of the poor prisoners there & such Prisoners had
liberty to take away such rugg & pillow when they we [..]
Depont knows nott then a prisoner there lay maked
in the sd Prison about a fortnight but having no money
pay for her Lodging any longer went & lay on the common
side of the Sd Prison & when she had been three or four [..]
days for such where noon the then trunkey there told her
that she should have [..] odd in the sd Prison &according [..]
She was allowed a [..] & had the use there of untill She
was discharged out of the Sd Prison which was about a
Supplyed by Mrs Boreman with water gruel milk
perridge & Sugar Sopps
