Surgeon maketh oath that he hath known Capt
Boreman Keeper of New Prison at Clerkenwell
in this County for twenty years & upwards and that
he alwayes had the repute to be a man of a fair
character & generous spirit and never heard [..]
Swear an Oath although this Depont hath often
kept him company and beleives him to be well
afferted to her [..] Governmt and never heard [..]
that he comitted by itt usage to his Prisoners
but this Depont hath been in the Said Prison
within two or three months last past and Spot [..]
with some of the Prisons there who told this
Depont that they were very well used there
