maketh Oath that he Served the Office of one
of the Overseers of the Poor
of the Said parish in the Year One
thousand Seven hundred & five And that upon giving up
his accompt of his receipts & disbursments (at the expiration
of the Year) there appeared to be & remain in his hands the
Sume of eight pounds three Shillings & Six pence which
Said Sume this Depont. by the Order & direction of the
Vestry there Some time after paid to Mr

then High Constable
of Holborn Division
the Said Sume being
charged upon the parish of Hampstead
by virtue of a Rates
made for the releif of Maimed Soldiers Queens Bench and
Marshalsea
and for reinbursing the Constables their charges in
passing of Vagrants (as he veryly beleives) That the said Mr
Chandler gave this Depont. a receipt for the Same wth he
delivered into the vestry & is Since lost or Mislaid as this
Depont is informed
