St. Leonard Shoreditch in the Said County Marriner
taken upon Oath before me Jn. Steuart< no role > Esqr one of
her Majties. Justices of the peace for the Said County
the 29th. day of November Anno die 1708.

Who Saith upon Oath That in the Moneth of February
Anno die 1708 James Collon< no role > & Sarah Edmonds< no role > confessed
to this depont. that they togeather wth. Webb Rawlins< no role >
on A day in the Same Moneth about twelve A Clock of
the Same day went to Peter Unit< no role > s house at the Signe
of the Green Man in Wheeler Street in the Parrish of
Stepney in the Said County & whilst they was drinking
Some liquor wth. they had call'd for there they observ'd
the Woman of the House to goe up Stairs & Seeing
use body to look after the house be Sides her the Said
James Collon took a Penknife out of his Pockett wch.
wch. he opened A Clossett door wch. was in the Same
room where they was drinking & tooke out thence
one plain Gold ring & one Gold ring wch. A Stones in it
four Pewter plates A Neck cloath & A Turn over,
& one pair of Bellows. & out of the room where they
was drinking The Said James Collon< no role > & Webb Rawlins
took one looking Glass A pair of Tongues A Fire
Shorvell & poror, & a box Iron wch. two heaters And
Sayed that they pawnd the two rings at the Seaven
Starrs in Petticoat Lane And that the Said Sarah
Edmonds
< no role > Sold the Said Plates at the Signe of the
pewter dish in Shoreditch to one mr Gardner & that she
this depont. bought all the rest of the Goods of them
for Seaven Shillings.
