The Humble Peticon of John Lawes< no role > of the
parish of St. John Wapping Porter in this
County.

Sheweth

That yor Peticoner is Over rated to
the poor of the said Parrish of St. John Wapping And
yor Peticoner haveing Applyed himselfe to the Church
Wardens & Overseers of the poor of the said Parrish
to be Eased of the said rate they refused to doe it &
yor Peticoner is no wayes or able to pay the same.

Therefore humbly prayes an Order
of this Honble Court for the Church
wardens & Overseers of the poor
of the said Parrish to Attend this Honble
Court to Shew cause why yor Peticoner
should not be Eased of the said
rate or otherwise order as to yor
Worps. Shall Seem meet.

And yor Peticoner Shall pray Etc.
