To ye Constables Head boroughs Church Wardens & Overseers of ye
Poor of ye parish of St. Sepulcher wthout in ye sd County; And to the
Constables Headboroughs, Church Wardens, & Overseers of ye poor
of ye Parish of Witham in ye County of Essex , & to all other
her Maties: Officers whom these may Concern.

Whereas Complt: hath been made unto us whose hands & Seal
are hereunto Set two of her Maties: Justices of the peace for ye sd County of
Midd (Quor nuns) by ye Church Wardens & Overseers of ye poor of ye
sd Parish of St: Sepulcher That Thomas Turner< no role > , together wth. Mary< no role >
his wife , & Thomas< no role > , Mary< no role > , James< no role > , Susan< no role > , & Elizabeth Turner< no role > his
Childrenhathhave lately intended himself into ye sd parish of St. Sepulcher
& indeavoured to Settled himself us there, wthout giving due Notice to the
Officers of ye Same Parishes by Law requir'd & being now in a
poor Condiconers likely to become chargable to ye sd parish of St:
Sepulcher: if not timely prvented: And forasmuch and appeareth
unto us upon ye Oath of ye sd Thomas Turnor That about Eighteen
Years Since Fee was a hired Servant by ye Year to one Abraham
Lake
< no role > of ye sd parish of Witham Yeoman, wth: whom hoe devset for
ye Term of One year Etc Quarter at five pounds P Ann Wages, &
that Since hee left the sd Service hee hath not been a hired Servt:
by ye [..] rented any house of Ten pounds P Ann nor paid any
Parish [..] whatsoever; And now upon Strict & diligent
Examinacon asee can finde no other Settlemt:

These are therefore in her Maties: name to require you, & every or any
of you upon Sight hereof to passe remove & Convey the sd Thomas Turnor
& his sd wife & Children from the sd Parish of St: Sepulcher , through
& out of ye sd County of Midds, & deliver them to Some or one of the
Constables of ye next parish wch is in ye direct way or Road to ye parish
of Witham aforesd, To ye End they may bee further convey'd and
deliver'd to ye Church Wardens & Overseers of ye Poor of the said
Parish of Witham , or to Some or one of them, who are hereby
requir'd to receive & provide for them as they do for other poor
untill they shall bee freed from them by due Course of Law
Given under our hands & Seals this Seventeenth day of
February in the first Year of ye Reign of our Sovereign Lady
Ann by the Grace of God Queen of England Etc: Annoqr.
Domini 1702.

ye about named persons fr your parish of
Westham to ye. parish of Rumford in ye.Libtbey
of Hauering [..] further elza. given under by
hand this 3d. March 1702/3.
