To the Constable and Headboroughs of Bethnall
in the parish of steping in the sd county and to all
constables Headboroughs and other her majesties office
and ministers to him this may concern

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto as Two of her
Majesties Justices of the peace for the sd county (quorum unus)
by the Church wardens. and overseers of the poore of the Hamlett
of Bethnall green aforesaid that Mary Pegg< no role > with four
children, Elizabeth< no role > ,Thomas< no role > , Martha< no role > , and Ann < no role > [..]
[..] stely come into the sd Hamlett Endeavour to Settle them
selves there contrary to law whereby theay may become
Chargeable: And whereas it appears unto us the sd Justices
upon the oath of the sd Mary Pegg the mother that
her last Legall settlement was in the town and parish
of Epping in the county of Essex where her late husband
Nathaniel Pegg< no role > Server. his apprentiship and lived there
an Inhabitant for many years last past: These are
therefore in her Majesties name to requires and command
you and Every of you upon sight her of remove pass
and convey the sd Mary Pegg with her four children
Elizabeth, Thomas, Martha and Ann, from the the sd
Hamlett of Bethnall green to the town of Stratford in the
county of Essex and deliver them to the constable [..] of the
sd place to be further passed and conveyd to the sd Town of
Epping and delivered to the churchwardens and overseers of
the poore there who are hereby required to receive them and
provide for them according to law Hurst fail not att your
perity: given under our hands and seals the 29th day of
January Anno Dom 1702

Examined, & allowed to passe from ye. towne of Sratford
to ye. towne of Epping in ye. sd County given under my
hand this 28th. Septr 1702/3
