To the Rt Worpfull his Maties Justices of the
peace for the County of Midds

The humble Peticon & appeal of the Overseers of the poor of the Prcinct
of St Katherines near the Tower of London .

Sheweth

That by warrt dated the Seaventeenth day of May last under the hands &
Seale of Nicholas Wolstenholme< no role > Esqr one of his Maties Justices of the peace for this County one
Mary Ferguson< no role > wife of Alexander Ferguson< no role > was (pursuant to a late Act of Parliament made
in the eleaventh & twelfth year of his now Maties reigne Entituled an Act for the more effectuall
punishmt of Vagrants & Sending them whether by Law they ought to be Sent) removed
from the Pish of Enfeild in this County to the Said Prcinct of St Katherines as the place
of her legall Settlemt (where her Sd Husband is a Soldier ) to be taken care of.

That the said Alexander Ferguson< no role > & his said wife never had any legall Settlemt in
the said Prcinct of St Katherines as your Petrs hope to make appear to this Honble Court.

Your petr therefore humbly appeal agt the order &
prays this Cort would appoint a day this prsent
Sessions for all Pties to attend to hear & abide the
Judgment & determinacon of this Court
touching the said appeal.
