The information of Richard Heath< no role > of Long acre of
ye Pish of St. Martins in ye fields in ye County aforesaid
taken before me this 19th. day of March 1700 .

Who upon his oath Saith That on Fryday last being ye 14th
instant about noon, Elizabeth< no role > the wife of Demetrius Keeble< no role >
(now present) came to this informts. house and desired him to
Change her a Lewis D'ore wch. this informt did, and gave her
Seaventeen Shillings for ye Same shee being a Customer [..]
him and use'd to buy Butter Chese and Bacon of him (he being
a Cheesmonger ) The next day following being ye 14th. instant
ye sd. Elizabeth came to his Shopp againe and bought of his
a Hock of Bacon and gave him another Lewis D'ore to Change
And to pay himselfe for his Bacon thereout, wch. peice apeard
to be false & Counterfeit and wch. hee Stopt letting the said
Elizabeth goe upon her telling him this informt that her husband
recd it of his Master a Shoemaker for work hee, had done for
him. and about Seaven of ye Clock of the same Evening a
boy of about 12 or 13 years old desired this infor [..]
him a Lewis d'ore This informt perceiveing the same to be false
and believeing it same from ye sd. Elizabeth. and looking
Stead fastly upon the Same told him it was naught, and
being in his Shopp very busie And before this informant
was aware, the sd boy run away all wch. sd. Three Peices
[..] are false and Counterfeilt now in his Custody
