The Informacon of Elizabeth knowles< no role > wife of Jno.
knowles
< no role > of Paris Street in the Parish of St. Clues
in the Borough of Southwarke Wool number taken
on Oath this 21th. day of July Ao. Dud 1699.

Who Saith that on Monday morning last was four weeks
her Said husband John Knowles< no role > had Feloniously Stolen from
him Eleven pound of Camells Hair, One pound of Ped wool
unpicked, and half a pound of redwool pick'd, as pair of
man's Shoes, a Velvet Cap, two Apron, and Ahea Small
Linen ale to the value of five on Six pounds or Apron
and one who calleth himself Jno. Thomas being a
lodger in this Informt. house abseriling himself after
the Said felony was comitted from his lodgings, this
Informt. did Suspect the Said Jno. Thomas< no role > to have
Stolen the goods aforesaid and being informed that
the Said Jno. Thomas< no role > was Comitted to Newgate
for Some other Offence, on Monday morning last
this Informants went to him to Engine als her
said Goods where upon he the said Jno. Thomas
confessed to this Informt. that he had Stolen the
said Goods and that he Sold the Same.
