Who upon his Oath Saith That being this Evening att [..]
George Taverne in Little Lincolnes Junefields he was
for from thence to the Fountains Alehouse in Clare Street , neare
Clare Marbett , and that in the sd Street before he came to the said
Alehouse hee was assaulted by Severall persons with passing
Showlls & other offensive weapons, whereupon this Informant
drew his Sword, [..] in his owne defense and there with Cutt
William Browne< no role > now present who was one of the assitants who immediately thereupon,
the said Browne < no role > assaulted William Mathews< no role > this Informts.
man with a Naked Sword and gave him one wound Under
the left breast of which he now Languishes and is at the
point of death, (if not already dead) as this Informants
belevies

Streete neare Clare Marbett , where there happened to be an affray [..]
amongst Severall persons, One whereof to witt, William
Browne

out of his Scabbard by Surprise and there with gave one
William Mathews< no role > Several to Mr Hodgson a Marshall
wound under his left papp, of which wound he now
Languishes, and in dainger of death if not already dead
