Who Saith yt this Morning being ye 24th this [..]
April about four of ye Clock She did See a Pson whose
Name Since appears to be William Newman< no role > ) drioning
an Oxe (of a Black Colour intermixt wth white) into Mr.
Greens Slaughter house & Mr. Green did Receiver Same
& when ye Hyde was Pulld off She did See ye said Newman
carrying it away in a Bagg She this Examt. going a
little while afterwards to ye said Green & asked him the
Price of ye Least Sweat bread & Lydnays of ye said Oxe but
they not agreeing about ye Price She Askd ye Said Green
what Occasion'd him to be up so Soon he told her that
he was afraid he Should be Arrested & besides it was
his businesse to goe to ye Markett betimes

This Examt. Saith yt this Morning about eight of ye
Clock being ye 24th of this Sustant April She Comeing to
Mrs. Finchs's house She did See Mr. Green help up a Pson
(whose Name now appears to be Wm Newman< no role > ) with a
Sack in which was an One Hyde She this Examint.
Leeing ye Horns of it out of ye Sack & She heard ye said Finch
ask ye said Newman to goe & drink but he refuesing it one
Jno Coleman< no role > fored ye said Newman to goe into ye Queen
Head Alehouse in Newport Court & Finch imediately
said to ye said Newman You are ye man yt Carryed away
ye Hyde but he denyed it Saying it was a Sack of Oates
& upon that making an excuse to goe out gott to ye door
& run away but was Over taken
