The Information of James Constable< no role > Taylor taken
before me Ralph marshall< no role > Esqr . One of his Majesties
Justices of the peace for the said County this 19th. day
of January Anno Diu 1698.

Who upon his Oath Saith That about three Monthes since
Barnaby hand< no role > and John Williams< no role > being in Soldiers habitts
brought a [..] Trunke into his house in the duskish of the
Evening, which Trunke the said Williams then opened, and
tooke out three black Gownes and three Petticoates and a
Parcell of Linnen which is now present in the possion of
Mr. Roblin One of the Constables of the Parish of St. Paul
Covent Garden which the said Williams sold to this Informt.
for Six & thirty Shillings, and after the drinking three or
four petts of Drinke the said Williams went away takeing
with him the said Trunkeaway with himwith Severall
other goods therein, but what they were this Informant
does not Know, the said Barnaby Hand< no role > Staying behind for
Sometime afterwards, and then went his way.
