Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us, whole Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, Two of his Majesties Justices of
the Peace of the County of Middle Sex
(Quoram unus) by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Fulham in the said County, that
Thomas White< no role > and Lidia< no role > his wife

are very lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to Settle
themselves there, without giving Notice in Writing to the said
Church-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor, or any one of them of the
House of them abode in the said Parish, according to
the Statute in that Case made and provided; And that the said White
is allredy and very

likely to become chargeable to the said Parish; And Whereas it appeareth
unto Us the said Justices upon the Oath of the said Thomas White< no role >

that he was last legally settled in the Parish of Chelsey in
ye said County where he lived a hired servant by
ye yeare after ye Rate of £7. P yeare wish one Christo
pher grinsteed

Fine yeare fined and served his said master about
three months and then was improsed for his majesties
service and hath not had any other settlemt. since as a
foresd
These are therefore in his Majesties Name Straitly to Charge and Com-
mand you and every of you, forthwith upon fight hereof to remove and
convey the said Thomas White< no role > And Lewey< no role > his wife
From and out of ye said parish of Fulham unto
the said Parish of Chelsey etc
and deliver them unto the Church-Wardens, and Overseers of the
Poor there, who are hereby required to provide for them
according to Law: Hereof fail not at your Perils. Given under our Hands
and Seals, the 28th. day of October And Diu 1698.

To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor, and to all Constables, Headboroughs,
and other Officers and Ministers, whom these
may concern.
