Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose hands & Seals
are hereunto sett Two of his Maties: Justices of the Peace of the County of
Middlesex (whereof one of us is of the Quorim) By the Churchwardens
& Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Giles in the Feilds in the [..]
said County, That Jane Baker< no role > wife of Richard Baker< no role > with two
Children (of the said Richard Bakers & the said Jane his wife) why
names are Richard< no role > & Elizabeth< no role > are lately come into the said
Parish & endavour to settle themselves there contrary to Law & are
become chargable to the said Parish, And Whereas it Appeth
unto us the said Justices upon Examination of the said Jane
Baker
< no role > taken upon Oath That the said Richard Baker< no role > her
husband was last legally Settled in the Parish of St Clements noe
the City of Oxford in the County of Oxford with his said wife &
Children Wee therefore the said Justices doe adjudge the said
Richard Baker< no role > & his said wife & two Children to have been last
legally Settled in the said Parish of St Clements in the said a
County of Oxford, And do therefore in his Maties: have Strictly
Charge & Comand you the Churchwardens & Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of St Giles in the Feilds in the County of Middlesex
forthwith on sight hereof to remove & convey the said Jane
Baker
< no role > Richard Baker< no role > & Elizabeth Baker< no role > her said two children
by the said Richard Baker< no role > her said husband from the said
Parish of St Giles in the Feilds to the said Parish of St Clements in
the County of Oxford & deliver them to the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Poor there who are hereby require to receive
& provide for them according to Law Hereof you may not fails
as you will answer the Contrary at your perill Given under over
Hands & Seals the Fourth day of February Anno Dui 1689/9

To the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St Giles in the Feilds in the County of Midd
& to the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St Clements in the County of Oxford & to all
other his Maties Officers & Ministers whom it may remove
