This Information of Thomas Silvestor< no role > of Coxes
Square in spittlefields in the County of Middx
Clothwarke Taken on oath the 21st day of
May anno Dui 1698.

Who sayth upon oath yt this Informt: on the 31st day
of January last between Six & Seaven a Clocke att
might after I was durke taking a Turne amongst his
Tenters in Spittlefeilds abovesd to see If his goods
there hung, lying were fast found & Same William Sampson< no role >
the prisoner here taking Towne his [..] Shallow
from of the Tenters & a Considerable quantity thereof
Lying upon the ground by him which he had after
taken of being two peeces Conteyneing upwards
of 30 yards of apeere to the value of above four
pounds which he tooke thenne downe with an
Intent to Steele & Carrys away whereupon the
Informt: Seized the sd William Sampson< no role > who own
then the said fast that he came purposely to
Steale this Informts. sd. Shalloon And this Informt:
having delivered him for the sd fast to the Constable
of Spittlefields he made his Escape from him
And further he Sayth nott.
