WHERE AS Complaint hath been made unto Us, whole Hands
and Seals ars hereunto set, Two ofhisMajesties Justices of
the Peace of thePeace for the said County [..] of Middx
(Quorum unus) by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish ofSt. Clements Danesin the said County, that
John Tomlinson< no role > , Mary< no role > his wife and Anne< no role > their Daughter

havelately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle
themselvesthere, without giving Notice in Writing to the said
Church-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor, or any one of them of the
House oftheirabode in the said Parish, according to
the Statute in that Cafe made and provided; And thatthey are

likely to become chargeable to the said Parish; And whereas it appeareth
unto Us the said Justices upon the Oath of the saidJohn Tomlinson< no role >

thathe waderlast legally settled the Parish of St. James
within the Liberty of Westmr . (theretofore Parcell of the Parish
of St. Martin in the Fieles ) where he lived by the Space of Twelve
Yeares together and that he never had any Legall Settlement Snike
they removed thence

These are therefore inhisMajesties Name straitly to Charge and Com-
mand you and every of you, forthwith upon sight hereof to remove and
convey the saidJohn Tomlinson< no role > Mary< no role > his wife , and Anne< no role > their
Daughterfrom the said Parish of St. Clement Danes
in the said County, and so from Constable to Constable, the next and direct.

and deliverthemunto the Church-Wardens. and Overseers of the
Poor there, who are hereby required to provide forthem
according to Law: Hereof sail not at your Perils. Given under our Hands
and Seals, theday ofOctober in the tenth yeare of
his Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord William the third by the Grase
of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King
