Sheweth

The humble Peticon & appeale of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of
St. Giles Cripplegate within the Freedome
of the City of London

That by Warrant under the Hands and Seales of Two of his Maties Justices
of the Peace for this County Eliz Cooke< no role > Widow late Wife of John Cooke< no role > Dent
with her Foure Children (vizt.) Katherine< no role > Jane< no role > William< no role > and James Cooke< no role >
was passed from the Parish of St. Mary Whitechappell in this County
to your Petrs.

That the sd. Eliz: Cooke< no role > nor her sd. late husband was never legally Settled
within the sd. Parish of St. Giles Cripplegate London Soe that your Petrs.
humbly conceive themselves not lyable to mainteyne & provide for the sd
Eliz Cooke< no role > & her Foure Children

Yor. Petrs. therefore most humbly Pray yor.
Worspps to be pleased to Order that the
Churchwardens & Ovseers of the poore of

may appeare in this Honble Court this
prsent Sessions to Shew cause why the sd Eliz
Cooke

here passed to the sd Parish of Mary Whitechapell
