The humble Peticon of Wm Powell< no role > of the parish
of St. Giles Creeplegate London

Humbly Sheweth


That your Peticoner is but a poor man and
is so lame that he cannot work and hath A
Charge of Children So that he is not able to pay
what the Parisheners Assess him for they make
him pay almost four pence A week to the Poor wth
he is not able to do therefore humbly intreats yor
Worpps would be pleased to consider his Condition &
be pleased to take him off of this great Charge and
in so doing your Peticonr Shall ever Pray Etc.
