Whereas Complaint hath been made unto
us by you the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Acton in this County
that Rural the Wife of Joseph
Sheppard

Nort [..] Notice in Writing to any of the Officers
of the [..] of there above in the said Parish
have lately intruded themselves into your said Parish,
intending there to Inhabit as Parishioner contrary to Law,
and may thereby become Chargeable if not timely preven-
ted. These are therefore in the Majesties Names to
[..] you forth with to remove and C [..]

legal, Settlement, and them to deliver to the Churchwar-
dens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some or one
of them, who are hereby required to receive them into
their said Parish, and to provide for them as their own
Parishioners according to Law. Hereof fail not at your
Perils. Given under our Hands and Seals the Eight & Twenfith
day of September in the Wirth year of the Reign
of our Sovereign Lord William the Third
