Tho bearer Mr Maxwell was bound over to appeare att
the Sessions of ye peace att Hicks hall by Mr Recordr. (One
Pritchett haveing swore ye. peace agt. him) Mr. Maxwell
formerly lodged att his house, & being removed is now sued
for Rent; the paid; as appears by Pritchetts receipt in full
Pritchett by ye Mstingation of one Morris a Newgate Soldier
(who has bin arraigned att ye old Bayly 2: & has stood
in ye Pillory once,) has malitiously bound him over,
upon noe other account or reason but only for
to putt him to Charger & expence, he has very Earnest
occations to goe to Scotland ; wch. Pritchett knowing
endeavous all he can to continue his Recognizance,
wch. will be very pr judiciall. to him; he is a men of
a very good repute as wee can make app [..] ie by
wittness, pray direct him in this matter & you
will Oblige
