WHeras Complaint hath been made unto Us, whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto fet, Two ofhisMajesties Justices
of the Peace of the County ofMiddx (Quorum unus).by the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of theParish of
Edmonton in the said County,
thatJohn Hicks< no role > his wife and 3 Children are
lately come into the saidParishendeavouring
to settlethemselvesthere, without giving Notice in Wri-
ting to the said Church-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor, or any
One of them, of the House oftheir Lastabode in the
SaidParishaccording to the Satute in that Case made and
Provided; And thatthe Sd John Hicks < no role > & wife & 3 Children
are
likely to become chargeable to the SaidParishAnd Whereas
it appeareth unto Us the Said Justices upon the Oath ofthe Sd John
Hicks

thathe waslast legally settled in theParish of the Enfeild
In the Sd County as An Inhabitant thereof
These are therefore inhisMajesties Name straitly to Charge and
Command you and every of you, forthwith upon sight hereof to
remove and covey the saidJohn Hicks< no role > his wife & Children
from the saidParish of Edmonton
in the said County, and so from Constable to Constable, the next and
directest way to the saidParish of Enfeild
and deliverthemunto the Church-Wardens, and Overseers of
the Poor there, who are hereby required to provide forthem
according to Law: Hereof fail not at your Perils Given under our
Hands and Seals; the13thday ofAprill Anno regin
