Charles Gretton< no role > of ye pish of St Dunstan in
the West London Clock maker made oath
that in ye 2d, of March instant in ye Evening
the Sash window of his Shopp was broke open
and a large Gold Pendulum match and a Silver
Minnit pendulum match of ye value of 20th
were stolen from theme, which Said Silver
Pendulum match was found lobe in ye possion
of John Arnold< no role > of Pall Mall Barber Chiru-
-geon and the Sd Charles Gretton< no role > Saies it is the
match which was Stolen away att ye same tyme
[..] Sash window was broke open as abovesd.

Joshua Seddon< no role > of Pall Mall in ye pish of St:
James Clock maker made oath that on Tuesday
ye 23th: instant ye sd Silver Minnit Pendulum
match was brought to him by a Servant Maid of ye
sd John Arnold< no role > to have ye key of ye match
mended, and observing pticularly the match,
psuant to an Advertisement left with him
concerning some matches Stolen from Charles Gretton
of London & ye same Advertisement describing the
silver match gave him occasion to stop the match
and seat to Mr Gretton to acquaint him
