Pursuant to an order of Sessions bearing date the
Twelfth day of October last past whereby it was
referred to us where hends over here under Written
to view the New enected Watch house at Playhouse
yard end in White cross street & to report to this
Court the next Sessions of the peace held for this Court
which place in the Sd Libertie is most convenient for
the Watch to be kept for the Security of the Inhabit
there of and by when Order the sd Watch house hath
been Erected & the Watch [..] removed from the
Antiant plase of Watching in the sd Libertie as [..]
the sd Order may Appeard Now we the sd Curtu [..]
haveing melt to geasther pursuant to the St Order
haveing Summoned att parties Concerned to appeare
before us haveing fully examined the matter [..]
that the new erected watchhouse that is built in she
place Complained of with in this Order is the most
Conveniant place with in the sd Libertie for the Watch
to be kept which watch house was built by the
Contribution of the Neighborhood & where as by the
Customs. with in that Libertie they have but Six men
to Watch each night we are of Opinion that Libertie
may maintain eight Two whare of ought to sta [..]
at Cheswell Street end & that they Sett there [..]
at Ten a Clock in the night & continue untell [..] for
in the morning all with we Submitt is the Judgement
of the Court Iated this 11th day of Decemr 1696
