day of June 1695

This Examint Confesseth that abt. a Month Since She lived
at Mr. Watsons in Tuttle Street & that now the lodgeth
of Mr. Walkers house in water lane in Fleet Street &
being asked how She came to Mrs. Wade Lodgings she an-
swered she came not long before the Constable came there, & being
asked how She came by the clipt money in the Purse she said
she Borrowed it of her Nurse Watson aforenamed on Monday
last & Saith that She this day found the bullion in Lincoln
Inn feilds , that was taken out of her pocket she confesseth
that She was in the Roome when the Constable found
the Clippings now produced but denyes that She
Knoweth how the said Clippings Came there.
