Esqr . this 15th. day of June Anno Din 1695.

Who saith upon his Oath That upon Monday the Tenth day
of this Instant June in the Evening as he was Comeing by
the Dagg Taverne doore in Drury Lane two psons Standing
at the doore there One whereof had a quart Pott in his hand
and the other a Red Coole on,(whom he therefore too be to be
an Officer) the one of them proposed to this Informt. to drinke
the Prince of Wales 's health, which he refuseing, the other
cry'd Dam him stape him or Stick him or worse to that
Effect, whereupon he made haft and gott away.but the said
Psons or their names he doth not Know
