The Examination of Susann Smith< no role > widdow
taken before me Ralph Marshall< no role > Esqr . one of his
Majties Justices of the peace for the said County this 22th.
day of June Anno Din 1695.

This Examinant Saith and Confesses that about three
months Since She meeting with one Leonard Norman< no role > in
the Stroud, who Said to her he had found Some old Iron
and gave it to this Informant and bid for Sell the
Same, Whereupon this Examinant Carryed [..] the said
Iron which was in a Bagg, and left the Same [..]
With Anne [..] Treberfoot< no role > , who lines in Sherborne
Court in Stamp Streete in the parish of St. Clements
Danes, And this Examinant further Saith That
She has knowne the said Norman about halfe a yeare
whome She wash'd for, but what he was or how he
lived She knows not not, but has heard him Say he
had an Estate of 50th. a yeare
