man taken upon oath his Second day of June 1694

Hee sayth that on Tuesday the 22th: day of May last
in ye afternoon, hee heard geremia may< no role > consess that hee
suspected his daughter Mary< no role > This name instance is in set 2357. to be with child and therefore
hee watched her ye more narrowly. and missing her out
of ye shopp made deligent seary after her & found her
in his garrett, shee seemed in greate missory. & sd she had
ye gripes. whereupon he called patience Ashfeild< no role > & his daughter
Road and whole they came hee told her if she were with child
she should p sever it & hee would worke for itt. Open the women
bedd him avoid ye roome and when they went away hee asked
yem how twas wr her ye [..] answered she had gott a shopp
she hadof miscarriage. but twas a thing of noe 9 Consequence
