Eleanor Shortell< no role > maketh oath before mee that on or about
the 10th. Day of October last , that one Anthony Dune< no role >
with a Constable under the prsence of a narrt from the
Ld Chiefe Justice of the King Hush to apprehend fellers
to search this Deponent house and finding nothing there
went away, and sent another man at night to terrifie
this Deponent that if shee did not pay give the sd
sum a sum of money that he would have her com
mitted to newgate, whereupon this Deponent being
beg with child and keeping a Good everly Victualling
house server then to have herselfe brought to
trouble nor her house disgraced those rather
to give anything, then goe to prison whereupon
the said Dunn agreed with much a due for three
pences, but would have fail whereof this Deponent
paid forty shillings by Dunns ordr. to the sd Dunns
wife, who said often call'd for the twenty shillings
more, that this Deponent was altogether a stranger
to the sd Dunn and to his wife and this deponent
saith and maketh oath that it was but a truth of the
sd Dunns to Gett money from this Deponent
under the presence of a Cyne shee never was
